Salesforce has announced the general availability of Agentforce 360 at the start of its annual Dreamforce conference. The company calls the platform the foundation for a new type of business called the “Agentic Enterprise.” This newest version of its AI agent platform is meant to deeply connect people, AI, data, and operations within a single, trusted system.

Marc Benioff, the CEO and Chair of Salesforce, said, “We’re entering the age of the Agentic Enterprise, where AI raises human potential like never before.” Salesforce says that its year of transformation, four major releases, and thousands of customer deployments show it is already delivering on its vision, even though other companies are just starting to explore enterprise AI agents.

The heart of Agentforce 360 is a single platform for AI

Agentforce 360 combines four important parts to make this new way of working possible. The Agentforce 360 Platform itself serves as the base, and it includes new tools for creating and managing AI agents. Data 360, formerly known as Data Cloud, is the trusted data layer that provides every agent with important business context.

It offers new features, such as Intelligent Context, that help agents make sense of complex, unstructured data from PDFs and diagrams. Customer 360 Apps include the business logic of every company, enabling AI agents to understand and act on every customer process.

A main point of the announcement is that Salesforce is turning Slack into what they call the “Agentic OS for the Enterprise.” Slack is where people and agents communicate and collaborate, sharing knowledge, actions, and data in real time.

Core Salesforce apps like Agentforce Sales, IT Service, and HR Service will now show insights and let you take action right in Slack. The Slackbot will also be rebuilt and made smarter to act as a personal AI assistant.

New Features for Accuracy and Control

The release adds several powerful new features that will help businesses gain greater control over their AI agents. Agent Script is a new scripting language that lets users program their AI agents with exact “if/then” logic. This makes the agents more predictable and flexible, which is especially helpful when dealing with complex customer questions.

This tool is part of the Atlas Reasoning Engine’s Hybrid Reasoning approach, which combines the creativity of large language models (LLMs) with the certainty of structured business logic. The Agentforce Builder provides a single, conversational workspace for teams to design, test, and deploy agents using natural language, speeding up the creation process significantly.

This builder comes with Agentforce Vibes, a “vibe-coding” tool for businesses that lets developers describe what they want in plain language. An AI agent handles the technical details. Also, Agentforce Voice adds a native voice layer to the platform, turning old IVR systems into real-time conversations that sound like the brand’s voice and personality.

Strong Customer Base and Growing Market

Salesforce made it clear that Agentforce 360 is not just a pilot program by showing how it has changed things for 12,000 customers. For example, Reddit turned away 46% of support requests and reduced the time to solve problems by 84%. OpenTable, on the other hand, solved 70% of diner and restaurant questions on its own.

According to Adecco, AI agents handled 51% of candidate conversations outside normal business hours, demonstrating that the technology can operate around the clock. With big announcements from Google and Anthropic in the last few weeks, this launch makes the already crowded enterprise AI agent market even more competitive.

However, industry watchers say that Salesforce’s integrated approach, with Slack as its chat interface and a large number of existing customers, sets it apart from the rest. One analyst said that this set of products shows that Salesforce is one or two years ahead of its main competitors.

The announcement also acknowledges the difficulties businesses face, as studies show that many AI pilot projects do not make it to production. Salesforce’s goal of creating a deeply unified platform is to fix this by ensuring that AI is always connected to the key business context. This will help customers move from small pilots to large-scale production.

Agentforce 360 is now available worldwide. In November, features like Agent Script and the Agentforce Builder will enter beta. Slack will continue to be integrated, with new enterprise search connectors for Gmail and Dropbox expected to be available by the start of 2026.

Furthermore, Agentforce Voice brings a native voice layer to the platform, transforming traditional IVR systems into natural, real-time conversations that can capture a brand’s unique tone and personality.
