A public demo reel by a former animator at Rockstar Games showed off new GTA 6 animations. This leak lets us see how players might move and interact in the game before it comes out. We have a real look at Grand Theft Auto VI from an unexpected source.
The news has shocked the gaming community, which is eagerly going over every detail. These GTA 6 animations show characters doing things that aren’t perfect but work, and they give hints about new ways to play the game. This video is different from a lot of AI-generated fakes because it comes directly from a professional who worked on the game.
This leak without permission is a big deal because the official release isn’t for another year. It shows how hard Rockstar is trying to keep its most exciting project a secret. Based on the leaked animations for GTA 6, fans are talking and guessing about what the finished game will be like.

Details of the GTA 6 Animations leak
The leak came from a Vimeo video that has since been deleted. Benjamin Chue, a character animator who worked on big Rockstar games like Red Dead Redemption 2, put together the professional portfolio. There was work for the next Grand Theft Auto game in the first 19 seconds of the two-minute reel.
A man rides a rental bike called “LomBike” in the first clip. He takes it off the rack, rides it, and then returns it. It looks like Vice City will have a working bike rental system, maybe based on services like LimeBike in the real world.
A woman, who is thought to be the main character, Lucia, gets out of a big pickup truck in the second sequence. The GTA 6 animations show her jumping off the truck’s roof onto the bed and then to the ground. This could mean that players will be able to do more interesting things with the outside of vehicles while they are playing.

People know that Rockstar Games doesn’t share a lot of information. The company goes to great lengths to keep spoilers from getting out. Rockstar Games investigated a significant leak that was created by a hacker in 2022. It recently fired more than 30 employees for sharing private information. It’s strange that an animator would leave this out of their public portfolio.
On November 19, 2026, Grand Theft Auto VI will be available. Rockstar moved the game’s release date from Fall 2025 to make sure it was done. It will be on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
