WhatsApp has improved its group calling features, and now users can plan group calls ahead of time. To use this feature, users should go to the Calls tab, click the “+” button, and then choose “Schedule call.” This feature lets users invite friends or coworkers to the call that is already set up.

The Calls tab shows scheduled calls, along with the list of people who will be on the call and links to the calls. The person who made the call link gets alerts when people join.

You can also add these call links directly to calendar apps, and people who are going to be on the call will get alerts when it’s about to start.

WhatsApp has added interactive features that are similar to those on Zoom or Google Meet, in addition to scheduling. These include the ability to “raise your hand” to let people know you want to talk and emoji reactions during calls.

WhatsApp is now more like a strong platform for work and group communication because of these changes. Since its founding in 2009 as a simple messaging application, WhatsApp has significantly evolved. This update is meant to make it easier and more fun to set up and make group calls.
