Prime Video has agreed to stream three Duke University men’s basketball games exclusively during the 2026-27 season as part of a multiyear deal. Announced on April 30, 2026, this deal is Prime Video’s first partnership with a college sports program. As part of the agreement, Prime Video will show three neutral-site non-conference games featuring the Blue Devils.

The matchups include UConn in Las Vegas, Michigan at Madison Square Garden, and Gonzaga in Detroit. Exact tip-off times will be announced at a later date. The deal also includes extensive NIL opportunities for Duke athletes and is part of a broader retail partnership expected to be announced later.

Prime Video’s Duke Basketball Schedule: Games, Dates, and Locations

Prime Video will exclusively air the following three Duke games during the 2026-27 college basketball season:

  • November 25, 2026: Duke vs. UConn at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The game is a rematch of the Huskies’ 2026 Elite Eight victory, which UConn won on a last-second three-pointer.
  • December 21, 2026: Duke vs. Michigan at Madison Square Garden in New York. Michigan enters as the defending NCAA national champion.
  • February 20, 2027: Duke vs. Gonzaga at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs since 2021.

All three games feature opponents projected as preseason top-10 teams, making them among the most anticipated non-conference matchups of the season. According to CBS Sports, sources said Duke’s NIL opportunities will be in the millions annually. The Blue Devils, as the organizer and Prime’s partner, will earn significantly more than the $500,000-plus each opponent will receive for participating.

Duke athletic director Nina King said in a statement, “As Prime Video’s first college sports partner, this collaboration not only expands the global reach of Duke Men’s Basketball, but also creates meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes”. Charlie Neiman, Head of Sports Partnerships at Prime, added, “Duke basketball games transcend the schedule, and the creation of this all-new offering gives fans more of what we all want, marquee matchups featuring the most successful programs in the nation”.

Prime Video already holds broadcast rights to NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, and NWSL games. With this deal, the streaming service enters college sports for the first time. Duke is a member of the ACC, which has a long-term media rights deal with ESPN. The Blue Devils secured the flexibility to schedule these Video games by committing to participate in select ESPN-owned neutral-site events during the 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons.

Prime Video’s entry into college basketball with Duke represents a new model for high-profile non-conference games. The streaming service plans to exclusively broadcast three Duke neutral-site games per season for the duration of the multiyear agreement.
