GeForce Now, cloud gaming is getting better with the addition of support for dedicated flight controllers. This feature is a direct answer to one of the most common requests from the community. At CES 2026, this big update was first announced.
It lets pilots and space sim fans connect special hardware like the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS. This allows for a more realistic and immersive experience directly from the cloud. GeForce Now is also adding new games and apps that work on new platforms, which makes it an even more flexible cloud gaming service.
GeForce Now clears flight controls for Takeoff
GeForce Now has made a big step forward by adding support for flight controllers. If you like simulations, this is a great choice. The service now officially supports dedicated hands-on throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) setups, starting with the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One.

This change makes it easier for virtual pilots to feel every roll, yaw, and throttle change, even though the game is being played on remote servers with GeForce RTX graphics cards. The GeForce Now app now has a separate row for games that work well with flight controls. This improvement is good for the members.
It’s easy to find games like War Thunder, Elite Dangerous, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 now that this update is out. NVIDIA says this first rollout is just the start and that more popular brand peripherals will be compatible.
New game missions and a wider platform expansion
GeForce Now is adding support for a lot more devices along with the flight control update. At CES 2026, the service said that Linux PCs (starting with Ubuntu 24.04) and Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks would be able to use native apps.
A lot of people in the PC community have been asking for the Linux app for a long time. It will let people turn their computers into RTX-powered gaming rigs that can stream games at 5K resolution and 120 frames per second.

These platform expansions are even better because there are always new games coming out. Team Jade’s next tactical shooter, Delta Force, is definitely coming to the service soon. Also, when big AAA games like 007 First Light, Resident Evil Requiem, and Crimson Desert come out on PC, people who have GeForce Now will be able to stream them.
The library is always getting bigger, so Ultimate members can play cloud games on very fast servers with GeForce RTX 5080-class graphics. The library also has a lot of games that change all the time.
