Meta is giving people a new way to meet in virtual spaces through Meta Horizon Hyperscape. People can now ask their friends to hang out in Hyperscape spaces on Meta Horizon. This update makes it easier to share virtual experiences with others.
You can use these virtual hangouts on the Meta Quest 3, 3S, and the Meta Horizon mobile app for Android and iOS. Friends can come as long as they are 18 or older and are connected to the invite. This gives us fun new things to do together, even when we’re not together.

How do Meta Horizon Hyperscape virtual hangouts work?
People can scan real-world spaces with Meta’s Hyperscape Capture and then explore them online. A virtual space can fit up to eight people at a time. Users can choose to scan their homes or go to famous places, like Chance the Rapper’s living room or Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen.
Meta is currently rolling out this invitation option and plans to expand its reach in the future. Meta’s Connect conference earlier this year was the first time anyone saw Hyperscape Capture. It lets you make exact digital copies with a Meta Quest headset.
Meta Horizon Hyperscape offers a new way to connect by making virtual hangouts on Meta Horizon more social and interactive. The feature makes more things possible in the virtual world, whether you’re just catching up with friends or going to cool places.
