SEGA’s new multiplayer party game, Sonic Rumble, will be available worldwide on November 5, 2025. You can play the game on your PC using Steam or on your phone (Android and iOS). This announcement ends a long wait and many delays, providing players a set date to join the fun.
Players visit a strange world of toys made by the evil Dr. Eggman in this game. They will control toy versions of Sonic and his friends in exciting 32-player battle royale contests.
To win, players must get through multiple rounds of different game variants. There are “Run” races, “Survival” challenges, and a final “Ring Battle” where the last players standing fight to get the most rings.
Sonic Rumble has faced numerous delays in its release since its initial announcement. The additional time enabled the development team to enhance the game in response to feedback from early users.
The development team improved the game’s basic mechanics, user interface, and progression mechanisms to ensure that everyone had a better and more interesting experience at launch.
